Description:
This workshop is designed for SEVIS Responsible and Alternate Responsible Officers who are at the Intermediate level of proficiency with a general understanding of the Exchange Visitor Program and SEVIS or who completed J-1 SEVIS Essentials – Level I. A certificate of completion is awarded upon completion of Level I and any Level II.

Sal Longarino
Sal, Director of J-1 Training, serves as Director of the Office of International Students and Scholars at Fordham University. Previously, he directed the OISS at New York University for 7 years. Sal was NAFSA's national CAFSS (now called KC-ISSS) chair. He is a past chair of NAFSA's Region X and a past member of One To World’s Board of Directors. He is also currently NAFSA's New York State Whip for Advocacy and NAFSA's Alternate Representative to the DPI/NGO at the UN.
Kimberly Carr
Kimberly Carr serves as an Assistant Director at the Office for International Services at Fordham University. She is the university specialist for the hiring of foreign national instructional staff, which includes H-1Bs, TNs, and J-1 scholars. She is a member of NAFSA and holds two Master of Science degrees, one in Education Administration and Supervision from the Graduate School of Education, Fordham University, and the other in Human Resources Management from the Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University.
